Good morning, everyone!!!
I’m looking forward to this writing charged weekend. It’s that time of the month again where my fellow authors and I meet up for our meeting which always brings amazing energy into my writing. We’ve been working on stories for our anthology and most of them have been turned in for first round critiquing and editing.
My sister has offered to help me redo my pictures for the cover. I took about 27 pictures the other day, although they were good pics, I wasn’t satisfied with any of them for what we are looking for. So my sister came over after work the other night and we brainstormed ideas based off of what I took. It was really fantastic hearing from a reader’s POV what would be fun for a cover. Thankfully she got what I wanted and was great with ideas on how to get the effect I’m talking about J
Today, I will spend the day after hubby takes off for his run, preparing for the board meeting and the business meeting for tomorrow. Once that is done I can focus my attention back to Prisoner of the Night. This has been a lot of fun working on and I hope the momentum keeps pushing forward so I can get this project completed.
I also need to spend the weekend going over short stories for the anthology. We have around 8 of us working on stories and first round is up and ready to be gone over. I would like to take one whole day just critiquing J
Besides all of this, daily life seems to be cooperating with me. Which has been a blessing all in itself. Hubby and I took Bear for his weigh in for his monthly pill. He turned 5 months old yesterday and is now up to 40 pounds. His brother, Shadow, grew pretty rapidly when he was younger, but I’m pretty sure he wasn’t 40 pounds at 5 months. So now I’m wondering just how big this guy is going to be full grown. Bear and Shadow share the same parents with only about 2 and a half years between them.
Next week I go for some nerve testing, both on my arms and hands and also on my legs and feet. I’m pretty sure the arms and hands are still my carpal tunnel, which I can deal with, I’ve been dealing with this since I was 27 J Now these legs and feet issues, I’m clueless on, but we’ll see what happens there. I thought when I talked to the doc about it all it would be was a simple med adjustment, who knew I would be wrong, LOL.
Well I better get this day going. So much to do, so little time.
Everyone have a lovely day!!!
Blessings to all!!!
