Welcome back to Romance Writers Weekly!!!
This week's topic is a fun one :) Leslie Hachtel
has asked us to name our favorite season and show pictures. Doesn't that sound fun since Fall has only just arrived???
I'm an all seasons kind of girl myself, so instead of choosing just one I will share with you what I enjoy about all the seasons :)

Fall:
It is colored leaves, pumpkins, slightly cooler weather. I love camping this time of year next to water. The fall leaves look amazing reflecting off a lake or river in the sunlight.
It's that time of year when I dig out the jeans and sweatshirts once again and enjoy being outdoors when I can for that last bit of outdoor fun before the winter months come.
Of course this is also the season where children carve pumpkins and go out on the streets dressed in costume to enjoy sweet treats :)
It's also the time when apples come into season and I make apple butter and applesauce :)

Ahhhh, winter. This season doesn't get enough credit because just as it begins we are in the midst of the holiday rush. Christmas, then New Year's, then Valentine's Day, then of course, St. Patty's Day. It's as if this season is full of holidays.
It's not just the holiday season I like about this time of the year. I love the way the snow glistens in the sunlight or moonlight like diamonds across the land. I love trees covered in snow. Each branch defined with the white and almost black against the landscape.
Sure, it's cold outside most winter months, sometimes bitter cold. But what better season to curl up with a good book, a cup of hot tea or coffee, adorned in pjs...

Spring...
This is the time of year when the world around us begins to come back to life. As with fall, it is a very colorful time in our lives.
Where fall has yellows, oranges, reds, and browns. Spring has all those colors too but also shares more prominent colors of pinks, lavenders, and white.
As the world awakens around me so does my inner desires to venture back into the outdoors. This is planting season. The time in life when we start looking toward the warmer months of summer and prepare the camper for adventures to come.
I love getting outside and working with the fresh soil after being cooped up inside most of the winter months.

Summer, oh Summer...
This is the time of year where adventures are abound and no one knows what we'll get into first :)
We do a great deal of camping, which we love. We enjoy finding new places to camp and finding new favorite places to go.
This is the time hubby and I like to plan fun things to do with the grandchildren. This past summer was a trip to Jellystone Park in Bloomington, Indiana.
There's swimming, long walks, campfires, smores, cooking outdoors, and yes, eating outdoors. There is getting together with family and friends. There's festivals and fairs.
Summer is just an exciting time but can also be an exhausting time.
