Powerful Paranormals
Vampires have been an allure from the first moment I saw a thick leaden fog roll down our isolated country road when I was thirteen. I recall peering out the window late one summer night and remarking to my cousin over my shoulder. “It looks as if any moment a vampire will walk out of the midst.” Being the type of child that always had a heart toward the proverbial bad guy, vampires were just misunderstood in my opinion. When I picked up pen to write my very first paranormal romance vampires were the obvious hero. However, I needed someone unusual to be their mate. Witches, another very misunderstood character from fiction had to be their partners. So that is how I came to spin the tales of vampires and witches. My vampires hold all the magnetism of ancient lore. They are robust striking men whose needs to consume the women who imprison their souls are intense. No ordinary mortal woman will satisfy their blood lusts. My witches are women of not only extraordinary powers, but know exactly the man they want and know how to get him. Keeping them is not the problem the fight against good and evil however can become complicated. Provocative vampires who meet their matches in the witchy women who stake claim to their souls and devour their hearts.

Into the Darkness
“Am I dreaming?” Raven searched his eyes, begging for some kind of answers to all that haunted her.
“Were you ever really dreaming?”
She needed to wake up. She would go crazy if she did not put a stop to these maddening illusions. Faintly, his lips brushed hers. “Does that feel like a dream, my dark angel?”
Breath, warm and sensual against her mouth, stirred desires that had long lain dormant. Trembling fingers touched where his lips had just been. Confusion filled her dark eyes. “No.”
“No, it does not feel like a dream?" Moist sizzling heat coursed through her veins as his words swept over the sensitive flesh of her neck. "Or no, you wish me to stop?”
Dragon knew his answer, but it had to be her choice. That was her control, it was beyond his. He could not enter her physical house without her permission, nor could he enter her spiritual one without the same.
Her arms wound about his neck, moving to his lap. “Prove to me you are real. Prove to me you are not some figment of my imagination come to establish me insane.”

Darkness Brings Desire
Flame’s eyes flashed to Desiree’s. “Look at what you have done! Why can you witches never leave well enough alone? Why do you always have to meddle in people’s lives? Just because I am a vampire does not mean I cannot feel things. I feel deeper than you know.”
Fury returned to her heart with a vengeance. “I know how deep your feelings run. I felt them when you drew near. The pain of your heart took my breath right from my lungs. How do you live each day with that eating away at you?”
His fangs slid from their sheaths. The sweet, delectable taste of her filled his mouth. “The very same way you live out your existence. You may feel what resides in my heart, witch, but have you forgotten so easily I have tasted your soul?”

Kiss of Darkness
“It was a mistake for me to come here!”
He turned on her with venom radiating from his entire being. The moment contact between them was made, Jasmine sensed his ill will turn to shock. The visions transmitted to his mind’s eye caused the fierce vampire to visibly recoil. She jerked from his touch as tears heated her eyes. Running through the mazes of hedge, finding a way out through the blur was almost impossible. Getting away from Rodan, away from the shame, was top priority now.
He had caught her off guard. She hadn’t sensed his anger nor his stroke until it was too late. How could she have been so careless?
The moon lit the opening of her escape a moment too late. Rodan blocked her path drowning out the light. His large body shook with barely controlled rage. His eyes a burning inferno, his voice boomed like thunder vibrating her soul.
“So your reasons for coming to me were purely innocent! You would do anything for me and my vampire family!”
His frenzied breath washed over her like a desert heat. “You are right on one account, Jasmine. Our hearts are exactly the same, black and empty.”

Remember
He reached down,
retrieving her sword, thrusting it in her hand.
“Then kill me. If you believe in
your heart, I am no more than some demon to be vanquished; then by all means
put me out of this misery I have endured for fifty years.”
He stretched his arms outward, standing perfectly still just inches from her. “Go ahead kill the demon you believe I am.” He yelled into the fast approaching nightfall.
Erui raised her sword. Her hands trembled, barely containing the heavy weapon. His earlier words rang out in her ears. Misery I have endured for fifty years, all too close to her own grief.
“Who are you?” Her words barely audible even to herself.
A pain cried out from his soul, adding to her bewilderment. ‘Remember my name.’ His words weren’t spoken aloud, but her heart heard them as if he’d screamed them.
“Kill me, Erui, please.” Anguish lined the words he begged, loud enough for the world to hear.
