Good morning, everyone!!!
Last evening was spent getting things ready for the weekend. Now all the campers are set up and we're ready to begin our weekend :)
Hot dogs were roasted over the fire by all. Always a simple meal for the start of fun time. I stayed up way later than I should have but only one more day of work before I get a couple of days off and no alarms :)
I'm pretty sure, though, I will need a power nap at some point today :) That's what happens when you get old and only get about three hours of sleep.
Since hubby didn't get home last night the grandson and daughter stayed in the camper with me last night. Thankfully the daughter had some homework to do so she stayed up to wake me up for work. I'm pretty sure I would have overslept this morning had she not done this for me :)
I had some more interesting conversations with the grandson last evening before everyone arrived. He is growing up so fast and he just blows my mind on how much he knows about life and the interests he's beginning to have as he grows older.
This week I've been blessed to have some one on one time with both the oldest and youngest grandchildren. I am always amazed at how different each child is but how wonderful they each are in their own right. Each one touches my heart in their own unique way. The older girls are growing up so fast right along side Bug. Then little Zoe is bringing up the rear with a uniqueness of her very own.
There is nothing more special in this life than watching children grow up. Seeing how each one changes over the course of time. Standing on the sidelines you can see the influence in their lives and how they apply them to their life.
I love the way each one has their own take on the adventures we go on. The different aspects of the same thing. My grandchildren are very vocal when it comes to telling me what they enjoy about our adventures, which makes them all the more worth the time and energy put into them.
Well it is almost time to get ready to head out and get this work day underway.
Everyone have a lovely day!!!
Blessings to all!!!
